Manchester-based full-service digital agency Pixel Kicks has developed and launched a brand new website for £360m-turnover GMI Construction Group PLC.

GMI was established in 1986 and has grown to become a successful building and construction services company working across the North West, Yorkshire, North East and Midlands. Last year the national award-winning contractor turned over £360m. It has a proven track record for delivering award winning projects for an international portfolio of developers, public sector clients and blue-chip companies.

Pixel Kicks won the contract following a competitive pitch last year. Since then, the team has designed and built a clean, modern, and unique brochure website that is centred around a well thought-out and simplified user experience.

The core aims and objectives were to showcase GMI’s projects and developments, be 100 per cent mobile-friendly and fast-loading as well as accurately track visitors and conversions. A suite of stunning, high-quality photography was also commissioned which now conveys the exceptional standards of GMI’s work.

Chris Buckley, MD of Pixel Kicks, said: “GMI Construction is one of the leading building and construction firms in the UK so our focus was building on and enhancing that reputation. We believe that we have delivered a visually strong, dynamic and highly flexible website that will serve as their key marketing tool for years to come.”

Ian Cheveau, associate director of marketing at GMI Construction, added: “Pixel Kicks has done a fantastic job in interpreting our brand into what is a new, modern and compelling website.

The revised and simplified sitemap allows for easy customer navigation, but it still delivers real stand out and is a true representation of what we stand for. That is incredibly important in what is a highly competitive sector.”

Following the launch, Pixel Kicks will now be implementing a strategic and content-driven digital marketing campaign over the next few months.
