Down at the Social launches consultancy for retail and placemaking following growth

Social Rebuild, a consultancy for the built environment, marketing and retail, has been launched by a growing Down at the Social (DATS) which has seen a record year.

The Manchester-based PR agency says it has grown steadily since COVID and recently won a raft of clients, as well as increasing its headcount.

In line with this, it has launched its sister business Social Rebuild alongside John Magee, a former client of theirs who has experience at brands like Tesco and Debenhams as well as Realm and Savills, bringing expertise in asset management, retail and property. Magee was also a Director at the Hull BID.

Social Rebuild will advise those clients in retail and placemaking – helping drive footfall, engage stakeholders, improve their brand journey, and manage events. Marketing services include PR, digital, strategy, planning and more.

It has already delivered one campaign for Moda Furnishings, helping improve their customer journey, refining its luxury experience, and assessing its high-end shops.

John Magee said: “I have a huge amount of experience working in all sorts of retail environments alongside tenants, suppliers, management companies and owners and it made sense to join forces with Daisy and the team to combine this service with really good marketing solutions.

“At Social Rebuild we work with places, retailers and brand owners to build communities, communicate with customers and shout about what makes them great. From ESG policies to brand strategy, events and tenant or customer engagement we are here to help our clients gain that extra percent that comes from knowing what their customer wants from them and delivering it.”
