Two significant figures in the digital sector have joined international digital transformation consultancy Kin + Carta in senior roles.
The consultancy, which has its global headquarters in London and offices in both Liverpool and Manchester – its Northern HQ which was opened in 2021 – has hired Robert Wadsworth (pictured, left) as Director of Enterprise Data, and Mark Collin (right) as MD of Experience and Product.
In his new role, Wadsworth will report to Kin + Carta’s CTO, Data and AI. Wadsworth joins having held senior positions at the Co-op and BBC, and is set to be based primarily in Manchester.
He was formerly Head of Data Platforms & Engineering at the Co-op, where he worked for nearly five years, and before this led the cloud modernisation of BBC TV and BBC Three Online.
It has also hired Mark Collin from YOOX Net-a-Porter Group, where he held the position of Global Director of Customer Experience Technology. Collin will report to Lindsay Ratcliffe, Chief Product Officer for Europe.
Robert Wadsworth said: “I’ve been aware of Kin + Carta’s approach and capabilities for some time, given the agency has worked with Co-op on everything from TV campaigns to bespoke AR experiences and digital charity initiatives.
“As Director of Enterprise Data, I’m looking to aid Kin + Carta in helping large organisations unlock the potential energy and value of data through the application of new approaches such as product thinking and computational data governance, atop modern data platforms.”
Collin added: “Having spent my most recent role at YOOX Net-a-Porter Group focusing solely on CX, I’m looking forward to applying that to Kin + Carta’s fast-growing estate.
“There’s a stellar client portfolio, both B2C and B2B, and I’ll be working closely with our global teams to deliver the the most sustainable, valuable, measurable digital products possible.”
As well as its London, Manchester and Liverpool locations, Kin + Carta operates offices internationally – including in Bath, Edinburgh, Chicago, Athens, New York and Buenos Aires.
