Sonos teams up with Liverpool in new campaign

Sonos is launching a new advertising campaign today, to celebrate the sounds and emotions felt on match day by football fans.

The company has been Liverpool Football Club’s Official Sound Partner since last year.

Feel More on Match Day has been shot in and around Anfield and will appear on Sonos’ social platforms as well as airing on television and VOD. It features players Sadio Mane, Alisson Becker as well as fans.


“LFC fans are some of the loudest in the world, with a passion for sound that’s as strong as their love of the team,” said Pete Pedersen, VP of Marketing, Sonos.

“We wanted to bring the hair-raising excitement you hear at Anfield stadium to the club’s global fanbase, so that no matter where you’re watching the match, it feels as though you’re actually there.” 

The firm has also set up a curated Sonos Radio Station, Anfield Pre-Match Anthems. Music has been picked by the club’s men’s and women’s first teams and is hosted by John Barnes. The press release doesn’t say whether Barnes features LFC’s own contributions to the charts, the Anfield Rap and Pass And Move (It’s the Liverpool Groove).
