Dani Briers leaves Carat Manchester after only 10 months

Dani Briers has left his role as Group Business Director of Carat Manchester after only 10 months.

Briers, who joined from PHD Manchester, where he was Managing Director, said he had decided “it’s not the right position for me”.

An internal memo sent to staff read: “As some of you will already be aware, Dani Briers has now left the business. After much consideration he has decided to look for other more suitable opportunities.

“Dani’s immediate team and clients are aware of this news.”

Briers added: “Carat Manchester and Dentsu Aegis Network North are amazing businesses with an inspirational leadership team and I’m delighted to have had the opportunity to join them.

“Having explored the current role however, I have decided it’s not the right position for me so it’s by mutual agreement that I will leave the business on gardening leave and with their support to explore new opportunities.

“I wish the Carat and DAN teams all the very best and look forward to working with them again in the future.”

Briers was appointed to the media agency’s management team last September.

Carat, owned by the Japanese agency group Dentsu, employs over 400 staff in Manchester.
