Cheshire agency Trust has won a major brief from The University of Manchester, to include web development and video production.

Trust will develop a new web platform to enable students and staff to report incidents of bullying, harassment, sexual harassment or discrimination.

The university will be one of the first in the country to implement such a system, which is part of the ‘We Get It: Zero Tolerance to Sexual Harassment’ campaign, a joint initiative between the university and the students’ union.

Gemma McCall, relationship director at Trust, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to deliver this important platform and lead the way in helping students and staff to work together to prevent harassment and discrimination, through cultural and behavioral change.”

Cath Prescott, the university’s equality and diversity advisor, added: “We are looking to developing an effective, process for responding to incidents, collecting data and regularly reviewing this information to inform our work. The system Trust proposed to us does exactly that.

“By having robust reporting mechanisms and clear signposting to support we can be at the forefront of proactively tackling the issues and making sure people are aware of the support available.”

Trust’s client base includes Technology business Pioneer DJ, networking organisation Marketing Stockport, accountancy firm Hallidays, and awarding body CABWI.
