Channel 4 goes Back To The Brothel in Yorkshire

Channel 4 has commissioned a second series of observational documentary Back to the Brothel, located at Sheffield’s only licensed massage parlour City Sauna.

The one hour show will reveal more of the day-to-day workings of the parlour run by a mother and daughter duo on the city’s ‘golden mile of sex’.

Operating in a converted pub, owner mum Kath and manager daughter Jenni specialise in providing the services of “more mature women.”

The programme follows the pair as they make plans to expand the business in the face of growing demand and offers access to all areas of this unique and unusual family concern, including contributions from the women who work there and the paying customers who visit them.

Back to the Brothel was commissioned by Channel 4 commissioning editor Ian Dunkley and will be made by Transparent Television, part of Argonon Group, with executive producers Jazz Gowans, Nina Davies and Mark Powell.
