Edwards is new creative director for myclever Agency

myclever™ Agency announced today that Rob Edwards has joined the UK office to head-up the creative team of designers, developers, copywriters and account managers, and further develop the growing portfolio of global clients.

Formerly head of multimedia at AO.Com, Edwards lead a team of 32 and was responsible for the production and distribution of all rich media content, including product reviews, buyer guides, TV ads, social media competitions and pre-rolls.

Prior to this, Edwards worked both agency and client-side with brands including Samsung, The North Face, The Millennium Stadium and Tuborg.

He joins the Manchester-headquartered agency to lead the digital and social experts team and develop campaigns and micro-content. Edwards said:

“The need for concise, effective, well-targeted rich media content is more apparent now than at any point in our digital past. There's an ocean of content out there but so much of it is generic, poorly produced and poorly targeted.

“The opportunity to develop a content-focused approach with a leading social media agency, with great clients and a track record of innovative campaigns, is very exciting and I'm really looking forward to the challenge.”

myclever™ Agency was founded in 2009 and has offices in the UK and Canada.
