The BBC has released first look images of its forthcoming Michelle Keegan-led drama Ten Pound Poms.
The drama, which follows a group of emigrants escaping the drab post-war North for a new life in Australia, is penned by Brassic scribe Danny Brocklehurst and produced by Eleven, which was recently behind the cult Bolton horror hit Red Rose.
Stockport-born former Coronation Street star Keegan takes her place in an all-star cast that also features Shameless’ Warren Brown and Middlesbrough-born star of Game of Thrones and Black Mirror Faye Marsay alongside an Australian cast including Chopper star David Field.
