Mabo says it’s looking to create 10 new jobs after senior management changes.
The Middlesbrough digital agency has promoted Stephen Cumberworth to Head of Pay Per Click, while Operations Director, Rob Jackson will focus on growing the firm’s social media offering.
“The company has been expanding consistently for the past seven years,” he explained.
“As our team has got bigger and bigger, we have added in more services for our clients including social media advertising and other product offerings.
“My role has evolved to help grow other elements of the business.
“The PPC department is still the largest element of the business and the bulk of our client base and Stephen help will drive this forward and continue to strengthen it. He learned his trade at Mabo, beginning as a novice, developing his skills and gaining a lot of experience. We recognised him as a very strong talent from the point we recruited him.
“From my perspective, it is important to see how we can move into other elements of the business, bring in other services and spread our wings.”
Mabo said that it retained all 50 members of staff during the pandemic and was now in a position to grow the team. In 2018, the agency said that it intended to employ 100 staff by 2021.
