Tech sector body, Manchester Digital, has made 3 hires ahead of next year’s Manchester Digital Festival.
The three new recruits include Niomie Haynes who becomes Head of Ecosystem and Membership. She joins from the North West Cyber Resilience Centre and prior to that spent almost 20 years at The Very Group.
“Manchester has an incredibly vibrant and ambitious tech community, and Manchester Digital plays a vital role in bringing it together. I’m excited to continue supporting businesses across the region, build lasting partnerships and help strengthen Greater Manchester’s thriving tech sector.”
The other new arrivals include Caroline Thee, who becomes Innovation Programmes Lead, leading the planning of the Manchester Digital Festival and DigitalHER programme. Finally, Ella Gago-Brookes, who becomes Ecosystem and Membership Lead.

“Our three recent new hires have all brought with them a wide variety of strengths across tech, policy, building partnerships and community, as we continue to grow and underpin the region’s tech and digital sector.”
Created in 2001, the organisation is marks its 25th anniversary this year.
