Kylie’s involvement in this year’s campaign brings a deeply personal connection to a cause that has touched millions of families across the world, helping Asda encourage more people to prioritise their breast health and check their chests regularly too.
Pop legend, Pete Waterman protegé and breast cancer survivor Minogue said: “I’m so proud that Kylie Minogue Wines is supporting the 30th anniversary of Asda Tickled Pink. This is a cause that is incredibly close to my heart, and the extraordinary work of Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! continues to make such a meaningful difference. I hope our limited-edition Kylie 0% Sparkling Rosé and the Tickled Pink T-shirt will help raise vital funds, while also encouraging more conversations about breast health and the importance of checking regularly.”
This year represents a major milestone for one of the UK’s longest-standing corporate charity partnerships. For over 30 years, Asda Tickled Pink has raised more than £100 million for breast cancer charities Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! to fund world-class research, vital education and life-changing support.
Across Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), Asda have over 200 products raising funds for its charity partners, including household names like Diet Coke, Yorkshire Tea, Mr Kipling and Shloer all who are turning their packaging pink.
Thirty years after a handful of passionate Asda colleagues first began fundraising, Tickled Pink has evolved into the UK’s largest corporate supporter of breast cancer charities. Yet its mission remains unchanged: to spark conversations, encourage earlier detection, fund research and ensure everyone affected by breast cancer receives the support they need.
The partnership has helped fund:
- 500+ breakthroughs: world-class breast cancer research discoveries through Breast Cancer Now.
- Expert care and support: funded specialist breast care nurses for Breast Cancer Now’s helpline and Ask Our Nurses service.
- 340,000+ accessing checking guidance: CoppaFeel!’s award-winning online tool, The Self-Checkout, building more knowledge and confidence.
- 157,000+ chest-checking reminders: through CoppaFeel!’s monthly SMS reminder service encouraging people to regularly check
