Future Factory is expanding its existing Manchester presence with a new workspace at Department at Bonded Warehouse, home to a growing community of marketing, media and creative businesses.
The business, which helps agencies build new business pipelines, is part of The Ingenuity Group, owner of marketing and creativity festival MAD//FEST.
The move places Future Factory alongside leading agencies including Dentsu, Open Partners and McCann within Department at Bonded Warehouse, strengthening the building’s growing community of marketing, communications and creative businesses.

The new, 110 square-foot workspace will give Future Factory a new base from which to work with clients, fellow agencies and partners across Manchester and the wider North.
With marketing and creativity festival MAD//North returning to Manchester for a third year, alongside fringe events at Department at Bonded Warehouse and across the wider St John’s district, Future Factory’s new base will strengthen the group’s year-round connection to the city’s creative community.
Clare Shutt, head of marketing at Department, said: “Department at Bonded Warehouse has become a thriving home for Manchester’s digital, media, and agency sector, making Future Factory a natural addition to the community.
“The building gives creative businesses the setting and support to work, meet clients and build relationships across their industry. For Future Factory, that means being close to its clients and partners, with the flexibility to bring people together throughout the year.
“The move shows how the right workplace can become part of a business’s network and growth, rather than simply somewhere its team is based.”
Carolyn Laing, managing director of Future Factory, added: “Future Factory has had a long-standing presence in Manchester, and this move reflects our continued commitment to supporting the brilliant agencies based across the North.
“Having a base at Department at Bonded Warehouse puts us at the heart of one of the city’s most established creative communities and closer to the businesses and people we work with. It will give us more opportunities to meet face-to-face, host clients and build even stronger relationships across the industry.”
Originally built in 1869, Bonded Warehouse later became part of Granada Studios, where it was used for television production, rehearsal space and offices. Department has retained that industrial character and media heritage while reimagining the building as a contemporary workplace for creative, media and professional teams.
