Stockport law firm Gorvins Solicitors has reinforced its commitment to the town by renewing its sponsorship deal with Stockport County Football Club (SCFC) for a second season.
Following a strong inaugural year together, the law firm will once again support the Hatters for the 2026/27 season, sponsoring the director’s box at the club’s Edgeley Park stadium along with pitch-side branding.
Gorvins prides itself on its Stockport heritage and is committed to active and progressive corporate responsibility. With a particular focus on delivering lasting value to the Stockport community and a commitment to support the town’s growth and success, it’s continued investment in the club is a direct reflection of this ambition.
Founded in 1883, SCFC currently competes in EFL League One and is one of the UK’s longest-established football clubs. Its broad range of community outreach programmes were one of the main attractions for the law firm.

The 2026–27 season, which kicks off in the league on August 15 with an away tie in Plymouth, will be the 145th season in the history of Stockport County Football Club and their third consecutive season being in League One. In addition to the domestic league, the club would also participate in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the EFL Trophy.
