Greater Manchester online retailer tops £100m sales after profits triple

A family-owned Greater Manchester online retailer has topped £100m in annual sales after a year in which operating profits more than tripled.

Worsley-based OHS (Online Home Shop Limited) reported record gross sales of £100m for the year to 31 January 2026, representing a 68% increase on the previous year. Operating profit also rose sharply from £5m to £15.3m.

The business said the performance marks its second consecutive record-breaking year, driven by growth in its own website, an expanding customer base, higher levels of repeat purchases and continued momentum across online marketplaces.

Best known for its home textiles offering, OHS has also expanded into categories including garden, furniture, soft furnishings and clothing as it continues to broaden its range.

The growth comes as the company prepares to open a new 327,000 sq ft fulfilment centre at Trafford Park, Manchester, which it says will improve stock management and distribution as demand continues to increase.

OHS currently employs more than 200 people, with headcount expected to double to more than 400 during the current financial year as the new facility comes online.

The retailer said sales during the first half of the current financial year are already more than 50% ahead of the same period last year, with further growth forecast over the remainder of the year.

Moshe Cohen, CEO of Online Home Shop, said: “We are delighted to announce another strong set of results, reflecting the exceptional talent, commitment and hard work of everyone across OHS.

“Our continued investment in our people and infrastructure has strengthened the business and positioned us for sustainable long-term growth.

“By attracting and developing the very best people, we continue to deliver high-quality, trend-led homeware products at unbeatable prices, while providing an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

“As we look ahead, we remain focused on building on this momentum and delivering the next phase of our growth.”
