Matalan has launched its Spring campaign to “build relevance and connection” with its customer base.
At the centre of the Merseyside group’s Style For Every Moment creative is a new television advert.
This has been produced by London and Paris-based production company, Ocurens and directed by Benjamin Lennox. It developed the creative in partnership with an in-house team, led by Becky Pritchard.
Rather than focusing on a single occasion, the creative follows a series of connected, real-life moments – from work and school runs to weekends and downtime – reflecting how customers actually shop and dress.

It aims to position Matalan “as a brand that delivers style that works across all aspects of life, without compromise on value.”
“Style for Every Moment reflects how our customer actually lives. She’s busy, juggling multiple priorities, and needs clothing that works across all of it – without overthinking it or overspending,” explained Marketing Director, Eilidh MacAskill.
“This campaign is about showing up in a way that feels real and relatable, while reinforcing what we’re known for: great style, quality and value. It’s an important step in how we continue to build relevance and connection with our core customer.”
The campaign rolls out from today across TV, video-on-demand, social and digital channels, alongside in-store and owned platform activation.
