Agency lands hi-fi manufacturer brief as it ramps up Manchester hub growth

M3 Agency has secured a new brief from British hi-fi manufacturer Cyrus Audio and appointed a senior strategist as it looks to build on the launch of its Manchester hub.

Cyrus has appointed the creative and marketing agency to support the next phase of its brand and marketing activity, following the launch of its new 80 Series. The account will be handled out of M3’s Manchester base.

The agency said it will work with Cyrus across brand strategy, campaign development, performance marketing and creative content, with a focus on improving consistency across channels and targeting both established audiophiles and newer customers entering the premium hi-fi market.

The client win comes after Alex Copping joined M3 as Strategy Director at the end of 2025. He previously spent more than five years at Midlands-based performance marketing agency ClickThrough, working across PPC, programmatic and paid social before moving into a broader strategic role. He also brings experience from McCann.

M3 said its work with Cyrus will extend beyond traditional branding, with plans to develop what it describes as “4D storytelling”, aimed at reflecting the listening experience associated with the brand’s products while retaining recognisable brand cues.
