Manchester-based product intelligence platform Vypr has appointed a new Chief Product Officer as the business continues to invest in its platform and expand its offer for UK and international customers.
Gary Bennion will lead Product, Engineering and Design at Vypr, bringing those functions together as the company accelerates innovation and research and development across its product intelligence platform.
His appointment builds on the launch of Vypr Predict last year. Vypr Predict is billed as a next-generation, self-serve research platform designed with AI to help global consumer brands, retailers and manufacturers make faster, smarter product decisions.

A product leader and technology entrepreneur, Bennion brings experience scaling SaaS platforms. He previously co-founded CloudM, whose technology has been used by companies including Netflix, Spotify, Uber and Booking.com, before joining employee experience platform Haiilo, where he helped shape product strategy in a high-growth environment serving customers such as Google, Salesforce and E.ON.
Vypr says the appointment underlines the company’s ambition to accelerate platform development and enhance decision-making for its customers, including expanding its capabilities for international markets such as Australia, the US and across Europe. The business works with brands including Kraft Heinz, Red Bull and Starbucks.
Vypr has also recently introduced Vypr AI into its platform to enhance workflows and accelerate evidence gathering for customers’ product teams. The tool helps users turn business questions into structured, research-ready plans and recommends targeted areas for investigation, reducing ambiguity at the start of the innovation cycle. Future developments include predictive modelling to help anticipate consumer response and performance outcomes earlier in the product lifecycle.
Commenting on his appointment, Bennion said: “Vypr is at an exciting stage of its scale-up journey as it is continuing to attract investment and has a clear plan of where that will be used. The innovation, research and development capability will further strengthen the product intelligence platform and I am joining an incredible, passionate team who fully understand product development and what will help our customers the most.”
Chris Williams, CEO at Vypr, added: “Gary’s calibre and experience of scaling successful global tech businesses further strengthens our leadership team. 2026 is set to be another exciting year of growth for Vypr as we evolve our product intelligence platform and support more of the world’s most popular consumer brands to launch successful products.”
