“It’s as good as anything you’ll see”: Matt Damon on the Brit hit that shocked the entertainment world

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have discussed the “unbelievable” Adolescence during the promotional tour of their latest film The Rip, which is on Netflix.

The pair were guests on Joe Rogan’s podcast and Affleck said of the hit series, “I think that’s one of the best things ever done.”

The pair then said it was “unbelievable” with Damon adding:

“I talked to the director about it. The cast took a week to rehearse each one and then a week to shoot it. And so they do it twice a day. The would choreograph the entire thing.”

Affleck chipped in:

“It’s a feat unto itself and then the acting is so great.”

“You could call it a gimmick,” continued Damon. “But it’s not in this case. But the performances and the writing and what it’s about, it’s as good as anything you’ll see.”
