While millions of viewers last saw Brian Davidson competing in BBC One’s BAFTA-winning phenomenon The Traitors, this week the professional photographer and owner of Studio Snap is celebrating a record breaking year, with his business reaching new heights following his memorable stint on Series 2 of the hit reality show.
Following Brian’s appearance on the reality TV show, Studio Snap has continued to grow, and has now reported its most successful year to date. The Glasgow-based studio, which specialises in professional wedding, family and event photography, grew over 70% in 2025. Davidson credits this impressive growth to a combination of the “Traitors effect”, his significant social media following, where his expert analysis of subsequent Traitors series has gone down a storm with the show’s dedicated fanbase, as well as a number of award wins for the business.
The photographer’s unique insider perspective and witty commentary of The Traitors has made his channels a go to destination for viewers looking to analyse the latest episodes. This surge in followers has led to Davidson working with a number of high profile brands, becoming an influential content creator, whilst running his successful business.
He said: “The experience on The Traitors was intense and surreal. Coming out of that environment gave me a fresh perspective. I went from one of the most stressful round tables imaginable back to the studio, and I’ve poured all that energy into Studio Snap. To see the business have a record year is the ultimate win.
“I love that I can keep one foot in the world of The Traitors through my analysis videos, the fans are incredible, and seeing the analysis go down so well has been a highlight. My social following has allowed me to collaborate with some fantastic brands, but photography will always be my main passion.”
Davidson was the second Faithful to be banished from Series two of the Claudia Winkleman-hosted The Traitors UK, exiting the show following episode four and placing him 19th out of 22 players.
