ITN Productions has unveiled a senior management shake-up aimed at accelerating its international and digital growth, with a particular focus on the US and new global markets.
The restructure is designed to give the business a joined-up view of globally focused development, as demand continues to grow for UK-rooted stories with international appeal.
At the heart of the changes is the promotion of Caroline Short, who steps into the newly created role of Head of Global TV. She will oversee a combined global development slate, bringing together factual teams in the UK and internationally to streamline decision-making and sharpen ITN Productions’ offer to both domestic broadcasters and international platforms. Short will continue to run the company’s Leeds base.
Georgina Mantle has been promoted to Global Creative Director. Alongside overseeing development, Mantle will help shape company strategy, support the digital division and drive expansion into new worldwide markets. The new structure is intended to increase speed and scale, ensuring premium factual, returning series and digital formats are built with international audiences in mind from the outset.
The international push is being supported by Chris Broughall, Deputy Head of International, who joined the business in November and will continue to lead day-to-day activity in the US. Recent commissions include He Said, She Said: Blake Lively vs Justin Baldoni for Max and discovery+, and Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy for Peacock, later picked up by ITVX.
In the UK, Jeremy Daldry remains Deputy Head of UK Factual, with ITN Productions pointing to a strong 2026 slate following a successful 2025. Titles have included Ant Anstead: Born Mechanic (Discovery Quest), Michael Palin in Venezuela (5), Dover 24/7: Britain’s Busiest Port (C4) and Hamleys: Top Toys Of All Time (C4).

John Keyes now takes sole responsibility for secondary sales and distribution, overseeing relationships with distributors and managing the back catalogue.
Ian Rumsey, Managing Director of Content at ITN Productions, said: “Caroline and Georgina are forces of nature. We’re fortunate to have them and I’m delighted to give their amazing talents even greater scope and scale as we push into new markets and expand our global slate.”
Short added: “Bringing UK-rooted, globally resonant stories together under one roof makes perfect sense for our partners – allowing us to move faster and pitch at scale.”
Mantle said: “Our creative pipeline spans premium factual, returning series and digital formats designed for worldwide audiences. I’m excited to help shape strategy and open new doors.”
