Citypress has launched an in-house AI infrastructure platform as part of a major investment programme designed to transform how brands approach communications intelligence, audience insight and content creation.
Citypress has opted to build and own its AI capabilities rather than rely solely on third-party tools in a strategic decision driven by client demand for data security, customisation and enterprise-grade reliability as AI adoption accelerates across the sector.
At the heart of the investment is Loom, Citypress’s proprietary AI engine, which has been built to support multiple large language models (LLMs) and integrate future services without vendor lock-in.
Hosted on the agency’s own infrastructure, Loom ensures client data remains secure while powering a growing suite of complementary AI-driven products and services.

This includes two research-based tools GEO Audits, which helps brands understand their presence and performance across multiple LLMs, and Virtual Personas, to enable campaign and message testing and crisis simulation using ethically designed synthetic audience data.
In addition, Citypress has established an AI Lab where clients can co-create bespoke communications tools tailored to their specific challenges, markets and audiences on Loom’s secure infrastructure, blending content archives with consultancy insight and strategic counsel.
The agency is also offering AI Consultancy, a new strategic advisory service that addresses both the technical integration and cultural adoption of AI within client organisations.
Rob Stone, AI and innovation lead at Citypress, said: “The industry has moved past the initial hype of AI and into the reality of integration. But the biggest barrier for many clients, and particularly those in regulated sectors, is security.
“By hosting our own infrastructure, we offer a ‘sandbox’ environment where we can experiment, iterate, and build powerful, model-agnostic tools that are totally secure. It allows us to move from generic content generation to deep, data-driven intelligence and genuine problem solving.”
Martin Currie, CEO at Citypress, added: “AI is transforming our industry faster than most people realise, and the gap between early adopters and laggards is widening quickly. Our new offering blends infrastructure, expertise and partnership.
“But Loom is also a powerful internal tool that equips our employee-owners with the best available technology to deliver faster insights and smarter campaigns in their day-to-day work.”
Loom is hosted on EU-based infrastructure in Dublin, with all client data stored and processed under EU jurisdiction and GDPR standards, ensuring both security and transparency.
The agency plans to expand Loom’s capabilities throughout 2026, with additional intelligence, content and measurement services in development.
