Two Stockport-based electoral and marketing communication brands, Print Image Network and UK Engage, have merged to form PIN Communications to drive further growth.
The newly combined business will continue to concentrate on its core public sector markets but will also focus on expanded services, including marketing activation and digital communications.
Founded 25 years ago, Print Image Network started out with just three people delivering print and mail services to local businesses before moving into electoral services. In 2009, the firm launched UK Engage to deliver non-statutory election services and later expanded into marketing in 2019.

In 2023, the business was snapped up by London-based investment firm Owner Venture Managers (OVM) as part of a phased retirement plan for founders John Foster and Stephen Power.
PIN Communications is backed by private equity firm Owner Venture Managers, which has supported a phase of investment and growth under the leadership of Michelle Ward.
Ward, who has over 20 years of global print and communications experience, joined as managing director in 2024 bringing a focus on innovation, sustainability, and strategic partnerships.
Under a newly unveiled brand, UK Engage and Print Image Network will now be known as PIN Communications.
Michelle Ward, PIN Communications managing director, said on LinkedIn: “We’re really proud to unveil our new brand identity. A fresh look that reflects our vision, values, and the incredible journey we’ve been on.
“With 25 years of history, a phenomenal team, and backed by strategic investment, we’re ready to grow, evolve, and continue delivering excellence.”
