New tech chief for Manchester AI adtech specialist

Lunio, the Praetura Ventures-backed, AI-powered invalid traffic protection platform, has announced the appointment of Simran Cashyap as chief product and technology officer (CPTO).

Cashyap will lead Lunio’s product innovation as the company scales its industry-leading analytics and IVT protection capabilities in the rapidly evolving AI-first performance marketing landscape.

Cashyap brings over 15 years of experience building data-intensive AI and fintech products, most recently as VP product at Echobox, where he led product strategy for the AI automation platform serving global media organizations. His background spans seven years at UBS Investment Bank in product management and engineering roles, plus leadership positions at BCA Research modernizing investment research.

With invalid traffic rates hitting record highs of 23% in 2024 and AI-powered fraud schemes driving an 86% increase in general invalid traffic, Simran joins at a pivotal moment for the $172 billion ad fraud market.

Cashyap is also an experienced entrepreneur and founder. He founded Pulse Angels, a HealthTech investment syndicate, and has invested in over 10 startups including Freetrade and Coconut. He holds an Executive MBA from London Business School and MEng Computing from Imperial College London.
