Berghaus appoints former Nike and Chelsea marketing chief

Sunderland-based Berghaus has named Adam Field as its new Vice President of Brand Marketing.

Field will lead the global marketing team at the outdoor brand, reporting to Senior Global Vice President, Charlie Pym.

Field joins from Reiss where he’s been Head of Marketing for the last 2 years – heading up its multi-year partnership with the McLaren F1 team and its first ever Pride collection in collaboration with Tom Daley.

Prior to that he was Head of Global Marketing and Fan Engagement at Chelsea FC and Digital Brand Marketing Director of Nike Football in Europe. He’s also been Global Head of Social Media at PokerStars, Head of Social Media at Havas and Facebook’s European Sales Planner.

Berghaus is part of the $8bn Pentland Group, which also owns Speedo, Canterbury, Red or Dead and Mitre. It also holds a 51.89% share in JD Sports Fashion plc.
