A former managing director at Social Chain has joined Manchester-based PropTech startup Mr Investa as a non-executive director.
Katy Leeson, who made her name at the social media agency co-founded by Dragons’ Den star Steven Bartlett, is the first of several high-profile board appointments as the firm scales up its investment and brand strategy.
Founder Ryan Hughes said: “Katy is a dynamic and highly accomplished British business leader, renowned for her expertise in digital marketing and company growth. This appointment marks a major step forward for Mr Investa.

After her time at Social Chain, Leeson went on to lead Relentless Media, the media division of Gary Neville’s Relentless Group, before setting up as a growth consultant and coach.
In her new role, she will spearhead Mr Investa’s public relations and strategic communications across investor, consumer and media audiences.
