The new line-up at BBC Tees sees Mark Drury leading the match day commentary at all games.

He’s joined by ex-Boro player Neil Maddison, in his third season as co-commentator, while touchline reporter Rob Law makes up the matchday team.

Drury, said: “I’m really looking forward to seeing Middlesbrough kick off a Premier League season for the first time in eight years.

“The end of last season was one of the most dramatic and exciting I can remember in 30 years of watching The Boro and I’m sure this season is going to be just as eventful.

“It will be a huge pleasure seeing Aitor Karanka’s side taking on the big boys at some of the most famous grounds in Europe and a real privilege for me and Neil to bring the atmosphere back into people’s homes and workplaces all across Teesside.”

Dan Thorpe, managing editor of BBC Tees, added: “We know our listeners love the commentary that BBC Tees provides on Middlesbrough FC and I am delighted that the station will continue to cover all the team’s matches for the next three years.”
