Mi doubles studio space

Manchester-based creative studio, Mi, is doubling its studio space as it seeks to increase its offering and collaborate.

“We have come to the point that we need dedicate studio space for our three studio focus areas of brands and broadcast, architecture and games.  Doubling the office space will allow for a much more flexible environment from which to service our current and future clients’ needs,” managing director, Tony Hartley Denton told Prolific North.

He explained that expanding to 3800 sq ft would mean that other companies and freelancers would be able to use the area to collaborate with Mi in an “informal and relaxed space.”

An as yet unnamed video production start-up will be the first to move in, which Hartley Denton said would “allow our continuing development of video editing and film set extensions work.”

A further success story appears to be App development, with recently launched title, The Impossible Line totting up 2m downloads in just a couple of weeks. It’s currently Number One in the UK charts and remains in the US top 10 after a peak at Number 2 last week.
