Mike Hoban, the former sales, marketing and e-commerce director at Thomas Cook has joined Morrisons.
He takes up the newly created role of brand and communications director at the Bradford-based supermarket chain.
Hoban joined Thomas Cook in 2012 from confused.com where he was chief marketing officer. Prior to that he worked at Barclaycard, Scottish Widows and British Airways.
At Morrisons he will be reporting to group marketing and customer director, Nick Collard and takes responsibility for brand identity and external marketing.
“Mike has a proven track record and brings some deep expertise in his field. He will be tasked with communicating our sharpened value and our amazing fresh food offer,” said Collard.
