York-based Wrapped Agency has strengthened its senior leadership team with four new hires as the business continues its growth across regulated sectors including healthcare, fintech, property and emerging markets.
The appointments include two senior hires, with Jon Groom joining as Creative Strategy Director and Ryan Gray appointed Digital Director. The agency has also recruited Caitlin Desa as Junior Search Specialist and Joe Martindale as Junior Web Developer.
Wrapped Agency said the hires reflect continued double-digit growth and form part of its strategy to strengthen both senior expertise and future talent development.

Jon joins the agency with experience leading creative and digital campaigns for brands including Renault, Arla Foods and the British Army recruitment campaigns, alongside work for global brewery brands.
He said: “What stood out to me about Wrapped Agency is its commitment to doing the hard thinking upfront. There’s a lot of content being created now, but not all of it has a reason to exist.
“The brands that succeed are the ones combining strategic thinking with creativity to deliver work that genuinely connects with people and drives results.”
Ryan joins after almost two decades in digital marketing and agency growth, having previously led large-scale campaigns and digital strategies for brands including Metro Bank, Travis Perkins, Hotpoint and Beko.
He will lead the expansion of the agency’s digital offering, with a focus on scaling operations, strengthening processes and developing specialist expertise across regulated sectors.
Gray said: “What impressed me most about Wrapped Agency was the ambition. The co-owners Mark and Becky Robinson have built something with incredibly strong foundations, but they also understand what’s needed to scale sustainably.”
Alongside the senior appointments, the agency has also expanded its junior team with the recruitment of Caitlin and Joe.
Caitlin joins after completing a placement year with GSK’s communications team while studying at the University of Exeter.

Joe recently graduated with a first-class degree in Computing and joins the agency’s digital team to support website development and digital delivery across client projects.
