Welcome to Wrexham Lager

Carousel has been appointed by Britain’s oldest lager brewery, The Wrexham Lager Beer Company.

The brand’s been a key sponsor of Wrexham AFC since the 1990s and has undergone significant growth since the airing of Disney+ documentary, Welcome To Wrexham.

Carousel’s role will be to provide PR, social media, and content production services, with a specific focus on new product and brand identity launches. Plus international expansion and online community building.

“Carousel is perfectly placed to help us capitalise on the next phase of growth and deliver the type of exposure and audience connection that we need to establish our position in a crowded lager market, which is currently dominated by European brands,” said newly appointed Wrexham Lager Beer Co CEO, James Wright.

“We’re looking forward to bringing The Wrexham Lager Beer Co’s points of difference to life with the agency’s strategic support.”

Founded in 1881 by German immigrants, The Wrexham Lager Beer Co was once a staple on the shelves of Harrods, the only lager chosen for the Titanic and served in some of the most prestigious hotels including The Savoy.
