Leeds post-production company Sticks & Glass has appointed Mia Kofoed-Kristiansen as facility manager.
Kofoed-Kristiansen brings with her a proven track record in managing dynamic teams in production environments, including in her most recent role as production manager at DAZN, where she gained an in-depth understanding of both live broadcasting and post production workflows.
At Sticks & Glass, Kofoed-Kristiansen’s primary focus will be on fostering efficiencies within the expanding post-production facility, deepening client and freelancer relationships and with a long–term view on growing the business’s live aspirations over the next 24 months.
Verdy Oliver, Sticks & Glass co-director, said: “Mia’s expertise in managing teams in high-pressure environments plus her cool temperament make her an outstanding addition to Sticks & Glass. We are thrilled to have her on board and anticipate her presence and contribution will play a pivotal role in our continued success.”
The new appointment also allows Oliver to remain as the DOP for the new season of FX/Disney+’s Welcome to Wrexham.
Fellow director of S&G, Adam Bennett said: ”Introducing Mia to management is also allowing Verdy to do what he does best and be out in the field with a heavy camera on his shoulder, playing to our strengths as an organisation who like to do it all.”
Kofoed-Kristiansen added: “It’s a really exciting time to be joining a young, creative and ambitious company. I’m keen to get stuck in, help grow the team and take it to the next level. S&G is a wonderfully open minded and creative space. I welcome anyone who wants to pop in, have a chat and a great cup of coffee.”
