TBWA\MCR and Prost8 get to the bottom of it in new campaign

TBWA\MCR has launched a new campaign to debunk the myths of prostate checks.

It’s worked with the charity, Prost8, to show men that they “don’t know their arse from their elbow” because rather than a finger being stuck, well, you know where, prostate checks are often done by a blood test.

“We’re incredibly proud to work with Prost8 to bring this campaign to life. The message is something every man should know, and this work has the impact and humour to change lives,” explained Lisa Nichols, ECD at TBWA\MCR.

The OOH campaign, which is running for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month was shot by Sophie Harris-Taylor and will be running across London as 48 sheets and 4 sheets.

“Every 45 minutes, another life is lost to prostate cancer in the UK, serving as a poignant call for heightened awareness, education, and decisive action,” said Paul Sayer, Founder of Prost8 UK.

“At Prost8 UK, we strive to empower men with knowledge, because knowing the facts can be the difference between life and death. Contrary to prevailing beliefs, prostate checks are simple and not painful. Hence it is our mission is to equip men with accurate information, recognising that informed decisions can be life-saving. Through our campaigning work, we aim not only to reshape perceptions, but also to champion innovative procedures for men battling prostate cancer.”
