Spinningfields launches in-house PR, marketing and events arm

The owners of Manchester’s Spinningfields have created a dedicated in-house marketing, PR and events team.

Luisa d’Aprano, who has worked with Manchester United, Williams F1, Nike, Aon and BMW, will head up the team.

Spinningfields is one of Europe’s leading business quarters and one of Manchester’s most popular destinations to work, eat, drink and shop.

More than 5.5 million people per year visit the site and it has an office population of more than 17,000 workers.

Its retail and leisure turnover is in excess of £80million per year.

Spinningfields is now in its final stages of development with commercial buildings XYZ and No.1 Spinningfields completing in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Michael Ingall, chief executive of owners Allied London, said: “The Spinningfields brand is synonymous with success and quality and has a tremendous following.

“It’s time now to expand on the brand, capitalise on the various marketing opportunities and ensure Spinningfields remains the very best commercial area within the city of Manchester.”
