Planning permission has been granted for a Sky’s new Livingston Campus in Scotland.
The 15 acre site can house around 3,000 staff, which Sky said “reinforced” its long-term commitment to the region.
It replaces 4 existing buildings at Kirkton Campus and leased space on the Alba Campus, creating more than 21,000m², of green areas and workspaces.
“Securing planning approval for our Livingston Campus is a significant milestone and a vote of confidence in Scotland,” explained Sophia Ahmad, CEO of UK Consumer, Sky.
“The new campus will create a fantastic workplace for our teams while delivering lasting economic benefits for the local community and wider region.”

The broadcaster has been in Livingston for more than 30 years, with its teams playing a key role in its UK operations.
“Sky’s decision to invest in a new Livingston campus is a major vote of confidence in our highly-skilled workforce, our local economy and West Lothian’s future as a place to do business,” said Gregor Poynton, MP for Livingston.
