Sci-Tech Daresbury completes competitive pitch process for PR account

Sci-Tech Daresbury has appointed HAVAS Red following a competitive pitch process.

Nigel Hughes, Managing Director of HAVAS Red North will lead the account, which includes a “broad press office scope.”

“In the pitching process, HAVAS Red stood out for the clear understanding of the market and excellent ideas as to how we can rightly make more of our positioning on the national and international stage,” explained John Leake, Business Growth Director, Sci-Tech Daresbury.

“We have many exciting developments underway this year including our 20th anniversary celebrations and our new laboratory and office buildings in Violet Phase Two; it’s great to be working with HAVAS Red throughout this very busy period!”

The Cheshire-based science and innovation campus and enterprise zone was established in 2006 as a joint venture between the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), Halton Borough Council and property development and management company, Langtree.

It houses space for more than 160 high tech companies as well as research facilities, with a stated aim to “accelerate innovation, foster partnerships and drive regional economic development across sectors including advanced engineering, digital technology, life sciences and clean energy.”

“The scope and potential of Sci-Tech Daresbury covers so many exciting areas across one brief from placemaking and property to business innovation and scientific breakthroughs that are at the forefront of innovation,” said Hughes.
