RecodeXR studio has announced a strategic partnership with Space Studios which will bring its Virtual Production services to the Manchester facility.
Virtual Production expert RecodeXR will open up in the 17 acre, six-stage complex in East Manchester in early 2024.
Previously based in Trafford Park, Recode has delivered a broad range of high-end Virtual Production projects for broadcasters, advertising agencies, sport teams and fashion brands.
The team has recently invested in an upgrade to its current volume, with high-spec Absen LED panels with Brompton processing following new wins across a raft of productions including dramas, ‘Protection,’ Sky and a return contract with ITV’s Coronation Street.
Recode’s new facility at Space has also been sponsored with an array of Nvidia workstations from partners SCAN Pro Video.
The new volume will be powered by Absen LED panels, Brompton Processing, Ncam Tracking, Scan 3XS hardware and continuous support from Aximmetry.
Recode will open a permanent dedicated VP studio headquarters within the Space site and will additionally offer custom Virtual Production installation and operation, servicing high-end film, drama and commercials.
The doors of the new space will open for business in February, with industry players invited to a launch event to demo the VP volume.

Space Studios is a purpose build facility for high end TV, film and commercial production. It has played host to household names including Marvel and Peaky Blinders.
