A South Yorkshire filmmaker and multimedia specialist has set up an online course for projection mapping.
The digital technique can turn objects including cars, buildings and natural landmarks into display spaces, through projected images, films and digital content.
Wayne Sables is behind Wayne Sables Project and has more than 20 years experience in the sector.
“Projection mapping has enormous impact for developing our own work and engaging our customers and audiences. It can be used in just about every environment,” he explained.
“This series of simple tutorials will give a real insight into the potential of digital arts in getting a message out to the widest possible audience.”
He came up with the 13 online sessions, after speaking to other specialists during the lockdown and sharing knowledge and information.
Sables, who is also an associated artist at Cast in Doncaster added that he hoped the project would bring digital technology and the arts closer together.
