Excited to reveal the Liverpool agenda for the Northern Marketing Festival, bringing together marketers, creatives and brand leaders for a day of insight and networking on 12 May at the Royal Liver Suites in the Liver Building.
The Liverpool line-up follows the previously announced Manchester and Leeds agendas and is the first date in the 2026 tour across the North.
The Liverpool edition of the 2026 festival will shine a spotlight on everything from affiliate marketing and AI-driven advertising to podcasting, packaging innovation and regulated industries.
The day begins with Matt Dicks, Senior Affiliate Manager at strategic partner Embryo, taking to the stage for a session set to reveal “the truth behind the industry’s most misunderstood channel.”
Appearing at all 3 dates, Uber Advertising’s Regional Team Lead Bill Dennett will also appear with a session titled “Uber: Where Life’s Movement Becomes Brand Momentum.”
A panel discussion focused on highly regulated sectors (and what we can learn from the way they have to look at marketing) is also on the agenda. Hosted by Sara Donnelly of Beyond Echo PR, the session “Regulated but relentless: Marketers sharing what actually works” will feature speakers including Will Jones of DF Capital, Kellie Butterworth from mydentist and Rebecca Moore of Lewis Silkin.
Liverpool’s media and football culture will (of course) feature prominently during the event, with Craig Hannon of The Anfield Wrap discussing podcasting as a marketing tactic.
The programme also includes a session from Liverpool Hope University exploring how businesses can “supercharge your staff strategy.”
Elsewhere, Absolute Group MD Chris Hodgen will present “From script to screen: Reinventing TV Ads through AI innovation,” focusing on how artificial intelligence is reshaping advertising production.
The afternoon sessions continue with a yet-to-be-announced session from Williams Lea before a panel titled “Made in Liverpool. Seen Everywhere.”
Hosted by Helen Cross from Growth Platform, the discussion will feature Lee Weaver, co-founder at OneMay, Jim Hough, Design Lead at Smiling Wolf, Nicola Docking, Managing Director at Poke, and Stephen Ardern, Managing Director at Continuous.
The final session of the day will see Unilever’s Head of Packaging Innovation and Design, Sarah Leech, present “Beyond the Shelf: Reimagining Packaging.”
Northern Marketing Festival’s Liverpool event will conclude with closing remarks followed by a drinks reception and networking session.
The Liverpool event takes place at the Royal Liver Suites on 12 May from 9am until 3.45pm.
Tickets are selling out fast and you can buy them for Liverpool (12th May), Leeds (13th May) and/or Manchester (14th May). Each day has a different and exciting agenda.
