Following their counterpart’s retirement, one of the joint MDs of North West strategic marketing agency ICG has taken up sole directorship.

Simon Couchman (pictured, second right), who has worked at ICG for nearly 20 years, has moved from joint to sole Managing Director of the agency, as Peter Cobley steps down.

Couchman, who will retain his position as Creative Director, has also created a new leadership team to support him. Forming this team are Head of Digital Dave Mallalieu (pictured, left), Account Director Julie Hackett (pictured, second left), and Sarah Huddy (pictured, right), who has been promoted to Head of Design.

“I am really excited to be leading ICG as we continue to drive the business forward, develop new services and expand our client portfolio,” said Simon Couchman.

“While the last two years have been challenging, we’ve recorded strong organic growth with more than a dozen new clients joining our roster last year. I am delighted to say that we have hit the ground running in 2022 and are on track for another record year.”
