North East digital agency strengthens team ahead of growth

Digital Allies has announced plans to double staff numbers to 40 and achieve a £2m annual turnover.

As part of the move, the Houghton-le-Spring based company has recruited Alastair MacColl as its non-executive advisor.

MacColl is also chairman of business solutions firm, BE Group and Pro Chancellor of Teesside University. He was previously MD of Gazette Media Company.

The company’s management team now consists of managing director, Steven Parker; chairman Chris March; commercial director Ian Scott Bell; and operations director; Andrew Barratt. Barratt is the grandson of Sir Lawrie Barratt, who was the founder of Barratt Homes.

We have consolidated that by bringing together an extremely strong management team which has immense collective experience and extensive contacts,” explained managing director, Steven Parker.
