The Northern office of Golley Slater PR has installed a new team and moved to new premises in Leeds city centre.

The changes result from what the national agency calls a “change in strategy”.

New hires include Lucy Allen – who previously worked for Golley Slater in a freelance capacity – as account director, and account manager Holly Skelton, who worked for Weber Shandwick in Manchester. Alex Witham, formerly of Manifest Communications, has joined as a senior account executive.

The office, which has now moved from Guiseley to a new development at One Aire Street, is headed by MD, Eileen Stretton.

It’s Golley Slater’s only remaining operation in the North having closed its Manchester office.

Stretton said: “The Golley Slater PR network has an incredibly strong reputation and this Northern divisional office has the unique ability to offer national brands based across the North access to a UK wide team of PR professionals at the top of their game.

“For our clients, a strong team based in North means they have expert counsel on their doorstep combined with the reassurance that our network of PR offices keeps them relevant in both national and regional outlets.”

Clients include Land Securities, Thai Leisure Group, GO Outdoors and BES Utilities.
