The Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs co-owned Stock Exchange Hotel in Manchester has appointed Jessica Southworth as its new cluster sales & marketing director.
Southworth joins the hotel following a decade-long career within the wider business of the Troo Hospitality operation, where she is already sales and marketing director at another Class of ‘92-linked brand, Hotel Football.
Her new, wider role will incorporate Stock Exchange Hotel where she will also oversee and execute the sales and marketing strategies across the group’s luxury hospitality offering, with a focus on continuing the hotel’s exceptional start to the year and building on its world-renowned reputation for outstanding guest experience with great food and service.
Southworth brings with her two decades of hospitality experience, covering various properties across the northwest including Hilton Liverpool, before joining Hotel Football in January 2016 as senior sales manager. She has since progressed through a series of senior commercial roles including national account manager, head of sales and sales and marketing director.
The Stock Exchange garnered international attention when Madonna booked out the entire 4-room hotel during rehearsals for her 2023 Celebration Tour, and hosted Tom Kerridge’s Bull & Bear restaurant for several years until its closure in 2023. It was also used as a base by Bruce Springsteen during his high-profile 2025 run of gigs in the city.
Southworth joins Stock Exchange Hotel’s senior leadership team alongside cluster GM Chris Hull, and together they will oversee the hotel’s commercial and operational strategy, and the opening and development of Norfolk House, further strengthening its position as Manchester’s leading luxury hospitality destination.
Southworth said: “I’m delighted to be joining Stock Exchange Hotel at such an exciting time for the business. The hotel holds so many memories—from visiting whilst the restoration was still evolving right through to how we see the extraordinary building today. After ten years of incredible support and guidance from Chris, COO Stewart Davies, CEO Winston and the wider ownership, I’m proud to be picking up the baton.
“The whole team has built an outstanding reputation within Manchester’s hospitality sector, not only for the hotel, but for our restaurant concept tender. I’m very excited to be working with Chef Niall Keating. Niall’s craft is exceptional, and I can’t wait to celebrate it further with Manchester.”
