New Leeds creative director among clutch of new hires at IMA-HOME

IMA-HOME has strengthened its creative and comms offering with four new hires, with a new creative director among two new additions in Leeds.

Since the merge of IMA and HOME in 2021, IMA-HOME has won a diverse range of new accounts including Wren Kitchens, Diesel, CLOUD NINE, Rubicon, Bumble, Great Rail Journeys and Vaillant Boilers. The new hires join 400 global experts across four continents, in what is expected to be a significant year for the agency as it pushes for global growth.

Ben Ducker will be based at IMA-HOME’s Leeds HQ and joins as creative director. Ducker has 14 years’ experience in advertising creative, production and directing, across brands including Ben & Jerry’s, O2 and EasyJet. He has worked for the likes of VCCP, Rascal, and most recently Journey Further, as executive creative director.

At IMA-HOME, Ducker will work across clients including Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. Global executive creative director, Simon Long, said: “IMA-HOME is fuelled by best-in-class creativity and content, and having Ben join our creative team will provide huge benefit to our integrated clients. Ben’s experience in global brand campaigns, new tech and expanding media will help to drive stand-out campaigns and new growth opportunities, across the work and across the world.”

Also in Leeds, Myfanwy Kramer (below) joins the channel communications team as PR account director. Myfanwy brings a wealth of experience having previously worked at Manifest Group, fashion PR agency Science Magic Inc. and boutique luxury lifestyle PR agency, Aisle 8. She has worked with brands including Apple, Ferrari and Topshop.

Further afield, Adam Savva joins as social content art director in London, and even further afield James Muirhead joins as group account director in the rapidly growing Australian base.

Janie Readman, director of channel comms at IMA-HOME, said: “Over the last few years, we identified the need to create quicker, authentic, and reactive content on social. We responded to this with the formulation of the content creation studio, and we’re now expanding its offering due to the demand of current clients and to help support the growth of new clients who are needing an agile social content solution.

“We have one core content team in place operating the studio, which means we can work at pace, creating real content. Our recent hires are a really exciting expansion of this, and they’ll play an instrumental role in helping us best utilise our new content space as well as supporting our global content offering.”
