Wain said: “APS Group has a clear, ambitious vision for where AI and automation can take advantage of the business, building on the strong technical capability already within the Group. That includes both operationally, and also in how it serves clients creatively and strategically.
“What attracted me most was the client-centric mindset and the people-first approach. In my view, AI should empower experts, rather than alienate them.
‘One of my main goals is to ensure digital and AI is put at the core of our services, ensuring APS is future proofed – continuing to drive value for our clients, supporting them on their AI journeys”
In his new role at Stockport headquartered-APS Group, Wain will balance finding internal efficiencies that free up teams’ time with providing external support for clients looking to embrace AI-enabled transformation in a fast-moving creative landscape.
During his time across Very Group, Pets at Home and PwC, Jordan’s achievements include leading award-winning automation programmes, delivering a globally recognised fraud-detection bot, creating customer-centric services and building and leading an automation ‘centre of excellence’.
Nick Snelson, managing director of APS Group, said: “Jordan’s reputation in AI and automation will add more depth to our team. His focus on how automation can deliver proven business impact combined with a people-centric way of working, is an element we’re looking forward to seeing him implement here.
“This is a pivotal hire for APS Group. Jordan will help us accelerate innovation internally while also strengthening the value we bring to clients who want to adopt AI in a controlled, practical and impactful way.”
Wain’s appointment further strengthens APS Group’s growing capability at the intersection of creative services, technology, people and transformation – reinforcing the company’s commitment to helping clients navigate disruption with confidence.
