MediaCityUK talent agency Scream Talent Management, based in the ARRIVE: Tomorrow Building, has secured two of the “Worlds Youngest Exercise Influencers.”
Lancashire-based Henry (aged 8) and Liverpool-based Tillie (aged 7) have joined a team of exercise influencers for a new ASICS campaign led by five seven-to-eight-year-olds from different backgrounds and areas of the UK. The World’s Youngest Exercise Influencers are aiming to increase exercise take-up for adults, and to encourage adults to not “take it too seriously.”
The pint-sized powerlifters – Tillie, Hiba, Joash, Imuujin and Henry – are presenting the first-ever guide made by children for adults to remind older generations to move for enjoyment and not just performance. The campaign focuses on promoting the mental health benefits of moving and exercise.
Recent research commissioned by sportswear maker ASICS found that 63% of adults admit the main reason they exercise is for physical gain, while 77% of children say the main reason they exercise is for fun.
Henry and Tillie are regular visitors to MediaCity UK and frequently attend Scream Management’s training workshops in the Tomorrow Building, where the senior agents develop the skills of young performers for TV, stage, film, voiceovers and commercials.
Scream Management has recently celebrated 25 years since it was established in 1998. It was one of the first companies, and the very first agency, to call MediaCity home when it first opened its doors there in 2007.
Henry also trains at Scream Management’s sister company Scream Theatre Schools, while Tillie trains at Scream Management affiliated company Stagecoach.
The Worlds Youngest Exercise Influencers and the new young ambassadors for the brand can be seen in this month’s Men’s Health Magazine as well as billboards across the UK. Henry’s billboard can be seen in Leigh near Wigan and Tillie’s can be seen in Speke, near Liverpool Airport
You can also see them on ASICS latest commercial “The ASICS Little Reminders,” which can be viewed on YouTube and ASICS social media pages.
