Supermassive, the rooftop immersive playground at Depot Mayfield, will host a free evening event later this month exploring how artificial intelligence is being used to shape live, interactive experiences.
The Manchester venue will welcome guests on Tuesday, September 23 for a keynote talk from the Supermassive team, who will share insights into the challenges of integrating AI-driven characters into immersive environments.

“Integrating AI-driven characters into immersive physical spaces is a complex task that blends technical expertise with creative innovation,” said Ben Kercher. “We want to share what we learned about creating engaging and responsive AI characters that enhance user interactions and deliver memorable experiences.”
The event will also include food and drinks to encourage informal discussion, with attendees invited to join smaller “huddles” focused on creative and cultural themes. After the talks and discussions, guests will have after-hours access to explore the SUPERMASSIVE playground itself.
Tickets are free but limited and are available via Eventbrite.
