31 tech start-ups have been confirmed as joining Manchester-based Enterprise City’s Exchange scheme, which supports companies to scale up.

18 of the firms are new to the scheme while 13 are returning, and span sectors as diverse  as healthtech, proptech, edtech, fintech, agritech, and ecommerce.

Former beneficiaries of the scheme include PixelMax, which raised £2 million in funding while participating in Exchange. The scheme, which lasts six months, is delivered in partnership with Tech Nation.

It offers resources and infrastructure to founders and teams, providing a network of entrepreneurs, mentoring from experts, access to scheme partners, and introductions to VC firms and alternative sources of funding.

Tanya Grady, Head of Enterprise and Partnerships at Enterprise City, said: “We have now had two incredible cohorts of Exchange businesses and we believe the third group of start-ups will be just as successful.

“The businesses accepted onto cohort three have incredible potential and we are anticipating some incredibly exciting growth over the next six months.”
