Manchester edutainment studio launches new subscription series in IP deal with local education specialist

Manchester-based Green Bean Studios, an edutainment brand for children, has unveiled Green Bean & Me, a new EdTech subscription series as part of a non-exclusive IP agreement with Hyde-headquartered educational resources supplier Findel.

The partnership will see the roll out of the first part of the Green Bean & Me series launch, named Baby Bean. It will be made available to educators powered through Findel’s online education platform, EuHu, providing early years professionals with SEND-friendly, Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) aligned content designed to support children from birth to 24 months.

Green Bean Studios was founded by Anita Frost (pictured), an award-winning author and entrepreneur. Driven by the vision to create a leading character for good to do good, she designed the fun-loving character Green Bean.

Green Bean serves as a household friend supporting early childhood development through play, fun and learning, and outdoor adventures during those vital early years.

More than just visually appealing, Green Bean pioneers an entirely new approach. The Green Bean & Me EdTech series empowers and inspires educators with engaging, practical tools for daily use, inviting children to experience a wide range of joyful learning opportunities.

Baby Bean is the first stage of Green Bean & Me’s wider EdTech subscription series for children aged 0–7. The series combines visual and read-aloud storytelling, children’s podcasts, interactive play, music, outdoor learning and ECO resources to help boost school readiness.

The subscription series provides educators’ guides, sensory activities, sounds and music resources, alongside eighteen EdTech episodes designed to help practitioners confidently support babies and young children’s early cognitive, physical, emotional and social development. The Baby Bean subscription will launch on September 15.

Frost said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Findel to bring this new EdTech series, Green Bean & Me, powered by EuHu, to educators across the UK. This collaboration represents an exciting new chapter for both the early years sector and the creative industries.

“We have worked closely with organisations that share our ambition to create engaging, development-focused content that supports children both in the classroom and at home.

“This series has been rigorously tested and in development long before we even envisioned its full evolution. We are now excited to embark on this brand-new chapter, as our children – the next generation of our future workforce – truly deserve it.”

Pronounced ‘yoo-hoo’ and short for Educator Hub, EuHu is Findel’s free-to-use and subscription-based platform, featuring content created by teachers and practitioners regarded as experts in their fields.

Findel’s chief executive, Chris Mahady, said: “At Findel, we’re committed to supporting educators with high-quality resources that make a genuine difference in the classroom and beyond.

“The early years are fundamental to lifelong learning and Green Bean & Me brings an engaging, play-based approach that aligns closely with our mission to support educators with high-quality resources.”

“By bringing the Baby Bean series to EuHu, we’re making it easier for nursery professionals to access practical, curriculum-aligned content that supports children’s development while helping to save valuable planning time.”

Findel’s brands and websites offer more than 32,000 products to educators and parents based in the UK and overseas, with the business exporting to 130 countries.
