With the popularity of darts continuing to increase following Cheshire native Luke Littler’s rise to fame, Bolton-based retailer, Darts Corner, has given away over £15,000 worth of equipment over the last six months to those most in need.
As part of its Supporting The Next Generation of Dart Players campaign, Darts Corner initially planned to give away 180 darts and 180 dartboards when it first launched the initiative back in February 2025, but has now surpassed this, giving away over 600 pieces of equipment.
Darts Corner’s managing director, Craig Heenighan, said: “We initially planned to gift 180 pieces of equipment, with it being the maximum score a player can achieve for a single visit to the board. However, we were taken aback by the sheer number of entries we received.

“Communities across the UK are among the hardest hit, and we are proud to say that we have so far given away over 600 pieces of equipment that will be used by children and young adults all year round. We want everyone to have the chance to pick up a set of darts and play the game, and equipment shouldn’t be a barrier.”
Over the last six months, the team at Darts Corner have donated dartboards and darts to numerous dart academies up and down the country, as well as to staff at Barry Fire Station, Thames Valley Police and the Armed Forces.
Heenighan added: “The incredible rise of Luke Littler has inspired a new generation to pick up a set of darts and dream big, but across the UK we are seeing examples of those who are most in need being unable to access relevant equipment. We want everyone to have the chance to pick up the arrows and equipment shouldn’t be a barrier. By providing those who need with free equipment, we hope to see a whole new generation of Luke Littlers.”
